Intermittent Pneumatic Compression

Intermittent pneumatic compression (IPC) is a technically assisted method that promotes natural lymphatic drainage through rhythmic pressure. Special cuff-like boots with multiple air chambers inflate in a set sequence, creating a gentle wave-like massage.

Benefits

  • Painless and soothing
  • Supports natural lymph flow
  • Helps reduce swelling and tension

Lymphatic Drainage Support

Naturally Relieve Swelling and Congestion

The lymphatic system plays a key role in fluid balance and immunity. When lymph flow is impaired, swelling, heaviness and discomfort can occur.

At Park Igls, we complement traditional manual lymphatic drainage with IPC to enhance the body’s natural detoxification and circulation processes.

From Lipoedema to Post-Exercise Recovery

Who Can Benefit from IPC?

IPC therapy can be helpful for:

  • Heavy or swollen legs
  • Limited movement, e.g. after travel
  • Persistent lymph congestion and fluid retention
  • Recovery after sports or physical strain
  • Fasting or detox programmes
  • Fat distribution disorders such as lipoedema
  • Cosmetic goals such as cellulite treatment

Cellulite Treatment with Added Benefits

Improved Circulation & Firmer Skin

In addition to medical indications, IPC can be used as part of a cellulite treatment. The gentle, wave-like pressure boosts circulation, stimulates lymph flow and can help improve skin tone – a holistic approach that combines wellness and aesthetics.

Tailored Treatment for Best Results

Medically Supervised and Safe

IPC is not suitable for acute infections, inflammation, deep vein thrombosis, certain venous diseases, decompensated heart failure or unexplained oedema. At Park Igls, each treatment is only carried out after a thorough medical assessment to ensure safety and effectiveness.

Many of our guests experience noticeable lightness and relief – often after just a few sessions.”
