Mayr Movement

Here at Park Igls we offer a wide range of courses, fitness tests, exercise classes and activities. These have been carefully selected to match the needs of our guests, meaning there really is something for everyone – from those keen to get moving despite restricted mobility due to an injury or illness all the way through to those with big fitness goals they are determined to achieve. Whatever the case, we will put together an individual training programme to ensure you make the most of your time at the Park Igls Medical Spa Resort.

When it comes to sports and activities, guests staying at Park Igls are spoilt for choice. Our comprehensive exercise programme has been carefully put together by sport scientists at Park Igls and is always being reviewed and optimised based on the latest research.

Sports and activities

There are plenty of ways to stay active throughout your stay here at Park Igls. Start the day the right way with a little jogging and stretching in the park or a water gymnastics session in our indoor pool led by an experienced instructor. Many classes are carried out as group activities, giving you the chance to meet like-minded people while exploring the beautiful region around Park Igls on foot or with the added battery boost of an electric bike.

Individual guidance for maximum results

Personal training

Our personal trainers will be happy to put together a made-to-measure exercise programme tailored to your individual needs and goals. They will also be at your side to help motivate and guide you towards achieving them. At selected times from Tuesday to Saturday you will find a personal trainer in our fitness room. Feel free to speak to them about the options available when it comes to personal training. We also have strength and cardio machines in our gym which can be programmed to match your individual training goals.

Golf training at Park Igls

The perfect solution for a pain-free swing

If you are a keen golfer but suffer from discomfort or pain while playing, we recommend you make use of our golf-specific fitness programme at Park Igls. It has been developed by doctors, physiotherapists and other healthcare professionals with golfers of all ages and abilities in mind. Our experts on site here at Park Igls will help you train the specific movements needed for golf so that you can drive, chip and putt away to your heart's content without any pain or restricted movement. We even have our own chipping green right here at Park Igls. In the surrounding area you will find three excellent golf courses:

Joint-specific training with kybun®

Strong & stable

From the ankle up to the spine, kybun® training has a stabilising and strengthening effect on the joints and skeleton. Through a variety of exercises on soft mats (kyBounder®), deep-lying muscle groups are trained that otherwise cannot be sufficiently activated through conventional training. There are also unstable shoes called kyBoots® used to achieve similar training by walking on any surface.
