Please see below for a summary of the measures and services that we have implemented in response to the latest travel advice to ensure a safe stay and safe return journey:

No restrictions on entering Tyrol
  • As a rule, German guests may continue to enter and be accommodated in Tyrol. However, they must present a negative COVID-19 test certificate when re-entering Germany.
  • Visitors from countries that have not issued travel warnings are not affected by the German travel advice, and may enter and leave the country at any time.
Free cancellations

  • In the event of travel warnings, bookings for the period up to 31 December 2020 can be cancelled free of charge up to 24 hours prior to the planned arrival date.

Free testing in the event of travel warnings

  • We guarantee free testing at Park Igls in the event that your home country issues a travel warning at short notice. This ensures that you can enjoy a worry-free and safe journey home.

Testing during your stay
  • As a medically recognised health centre, we guarantee the highest standards. Test samples are taken in our own medical department, and our renowned team of doctors, together with a distinguished laboratory, ensure that all tests are processed quickly and professionally.
  • Testing at Park Igls is available three times a week.
Hygiene and safety
  • Our employees are subject to frequent and regular testing.
  • The Park Igls medical team developed our stringent hygiene and safety standards. We have rigorously applied them throughout the summer and will continue to do so.
German travel warning for Tyrol

On 25 September, the German Government issued a travel warning for Tyrol with immediate effect. The travel warning is open-ended and will be lifted as soon as the number of coronavirus cases drops sufficiently.

People travelling from a risk area must now

  • Either: present a negative COVID-19 test certificate on entering Germany, which must be no more than 48-hours old.
  • Or: proceed directly to their home or destination where they must self-isolate for two weeks. They must immediately notify their local health authority.

Crossing the border into Germany

  • No health/quarantine checks are carried out at the border crossings that are subject to federal police checks (Passau, Salzburg-Walserberg and Kufstein motorways). Citizens entering from risk areas must report to their local health authority and are solely responsible for doing so!

Your health is central!

We guarantee you a worry-free and safe stay designed to boost your health, immune system and wellbeing: sustainably safe from arrival to departure.
